WWE Superstar Instagram endorsements worth £11,000+ per post
Marketers see opportunity in sponsoring Instagram posts of WWE Superstars in the run up to WrestleMania 37.
Randy Orton and Alexa Bliss have the highest earning potential for sponsored Instagram posts in the WWE.
This is according to a study by online retailer GolfSupport.com ahead of this year’s WrestleMania. Interested in major sporting events, the company analysed data from Influencer Marketing Hub, which combined the number of followers, engagement rate and like to comment ratio into an algorithm. This was then used to estimate what the top WWE superstars could be earning per sponsored Instagram post.
Every sponsored post to his 6 million Instagram followers could net the 14-time WWE World Champion, Randy Orton, £11,603. This makes Orton the WWE Superstar with the highest earning potential.
For each sponsored post, Alexa Bliss could net £9,945. Bliss, the five-time women’s champion, currently has 5.1 million followers.
Per sponsored upload, Sasha Banks is estimated to bank £9,786. The current SmackDown women’s champion also has a 5.1 million following on her Instagram.
Other WWE superstars with potential earnings above £8,000 are Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Seth Rollins. The current Universal Champion Roman Reigns could be netting £7,978. Finn Bálor and Rey Mysterio follow Reigns in the £7,000 bracket.
Airing over April 10-11, many WWE superstars present on GolfSupport’s list will make an appearance at WrestleMania 37.
This year’s event returns to the stadium setting as WrestleMania 36 was held without a crowd due to COVID-19. However, WrestleMania 36 still managed to garner more than 967 million video views across WWE’s digital and social platforms. In addition, WWE revealed it was the most social event in the company’s history with 13.8 million total social interactions.
