Auto Trader has appointed Selligent Marketing Cloud, a B2C marketing automation platform, to boost its customer engagement strategy.
Auto Trader is the UK and Ireland’s largest digital automotive marketplace, and sits at the heart of the UK car buying and selling process.
The company will use Selligent Marketing Cloud to consolidate multiple data sources to create a 360° profile of Auto Trader’s customers. The brand attracts circa 55 million cross-platform visits each month, with 70 percent of visits coming through mobile devices. Auto Trader will use Selligent Marketing Cloud’s push notification capabilities to deliver customised and personal messages across mobile devices during critical moments to connect with customers at the right time and on the right channel.
Selligent Marketing Cloud also hopes to enable Auto Trader to create customised website experiences, based on real-time customer behaviour, collected across multiple channels, such as email, to deliver relevant and valuable engagement, at any stage of the customer journey.
